Martial arts mentoring - a slightly different mirror
In my self-assessment, I was weak-willed, anxious and – I'm a little ashamed to say so publicly about myself – “useless”. Thanks to the martial arts mentoring, I was able to get to know myself from a completely different side. Once the burden of the expectations of the world out there is laid down, I collect myself, there is a lot of strength. A lot of power. If I concentrate on myself and the here and now, which has worked better and better over time thanks to Doris' help and guidance, then I can feel this willpower, this courage and this competence. This is how archery became a revelation - I even cried. Even if I'm not the most disciplined when it comes to exercises, this image that I saw in the mirror of the mentoring that Doris presented to me, I'll always have it with me from now on. I know where the journey can lead, who I can be. It was all worth it and I am very grateful to her for the experience.
